Goodside's Producers and their Products
Co-op Partners Warehouse is a distributor of organic produce, dairy, soy and juice servicing retail co-ops, natural food stores and restaurants in the Upper Midwest. On any given day, you will find 200-250 organic produce items stocked in our St. Paul warehouse. We also carry organic milk, cheese and yogurt; soy products, fresh juices and smoothies; and a selection of dry grocery items. Our close relationships with local producers began with produce but now encompass all our product lines. We are proud to represent products from Minnesota and Wisconsin family businesses, from chevre to chestnuts. Partnering with local processors and the National Co-op Grocer's Association has allowed us to initiate our own line of signature products such as frozen cookie dough, deli salads, and chili. Co-op Partners Warehouse is certified as an organic distributor by the USDA-accredited certification agency MOSA (Midwest Organic Services Association).
Golden Bear Farm is a certified organic farm producing superior beef and pork. We raise organic pasture-fed pigs and 100% grass-fed cattle in a natural environment to produce healthy meats. Our animals breathe fresh air and get plenty of sunshine and exercise on our spacious farm. We rotationally graze our livestock so that they continue to graze on fresh healthy pastures. We never feed corn, soy, GMO's, processed foods, hormones or antibiotics. Our Hereford and Angus cattle are chosen to provide delicious and tender meat cuts. Similarly, we have chosen the Berkshire breed of pigs because of the reputation for the high meat quality. Furthermore, Berkshire pigs are also known for the abilities to finish at any age and to perform well in pasture-based environments. We sell our meat cut to order, and are happy to provide farm tours with prior request.

Jeff-Leen Farm is located in the beautiful rolling glacial hills of eastern Wisconsin. Our specialties are in raising grass-fed Piedmontese beef, pastured chickens, and eggs. We have turkeys which can be pre-ordered for Thanksgiving. We have been family owned since 1868. Our goal of producing the healthiest food products possible, in a sustainable manner, means we use NO hormones, antibiotics, or steroids with our livestock. Most of our grains, for the chickens, are produced naturally. All our pastures are certified organic. Our products are available at several local farmers markets, as well as directly from our farm, or via phone-in mail-order. We look forward to welcoming you to our family of customers!
Just Coffee We started Just Coffee to work with Zapatista coffee farmers in Chiapas, MX when coffee prices were at an all time low. After meeting and getting close to some radical farm families, it was plain to see that the coffee market was doing them wrong. Back in Madison we became “reluctant entrepreneurs” trying to organize Just Coffee as people who had absolutely no business or coffee roasting training. Not only did we not have any training, we thumbed our noses at anything that smelled of standard business practices. The approach did not always work well, but it sometimes worked brilliantly. Our coffee is second to none and our relationships with the small farmers we partner with are strong. We are small players in the coffee industry with a loud voice– the people who won’t shut up. And we love it. Thanks for supporting all of us. Now let’s drink some coffee.

Springdale Farm’s goal is to provide, for seven months, approximately 700 southeast Wisconsin households with a variety of fresh produce and eggs. The households become members, or ‘shareholders’ of the farm by contributing a portion of the farm’s operating budget, and the farm in return does its best to produce the tastiest and most nutritious vegetables and fruits possible. Shareholders can develop a meaningful relationship with ‘their’ local farm, while the farm is assured of a local, supportive community with which to share its bounty, and can, furthermore, concentrate on treating the soil and the land in the most environmentally-sound fashion. The share-holders thus share directly with the farm the responsibilities of the long-term care of the soil, and the quality of our food.
Trust Local Foods is a local food distribution center as well as a retail warehouse grocery. We sell meat, milk, cheese, produce, and value added products direct to consumers and wholesale. Trust Local Foods aims at bridging the connections between farmer and consumer. We provide the resources needed to build a resilient local community through educational outreach, direct contact with farmers, and a full cycle system of zero waste. We believe everything works cyclically. What we are given we return. When we buy our vegetables from our farmers we also hope to provide them with the resources to have a healthy and bountiful crop so that they may keep doing business for a long time. That means getting back to the soil, that means getting back to the people.
